Cura Smiles Hits $1 Million in Free Dental Care

At today’s Point Loma Optimist Club meeting, guest speaker and fellow Optimist of over 20 years Thomas Fitzpatrick, DDS, shared the inspiring story of Cura Smiles, a San Diego nonprofit providing free dental care to those in need.

Cura Smiles recently reached a remarkable milestone—$1 million in free dental work—thanks to the dedication of volunteer dentists, hygienists, and community supporters. Dr. Fitzpatrick highlighted how this care not only restores oral health, but also confidence and dignity for underserved individuals.
