Become an Optimist
As a member of the Point Loma Optimist Club, you will enjoy camaraderie with other members through weekly meetings and activities. You will work on committees that facilitate the generation of tens of thousands of dollars annually. You will have an opportunity to partake in the Flag Progam. Most importantly, you will know that you are leaving a positive impact on your community.
The most immediate way to help make a difference in your community is by joining your local Optimist Club. The time you commit to the club and its activities is totally up to you—whether it’s three hours or 300 hours, every moment you contribute is positively affecting the lives of local kids and teens. Our meetings are normally Tuesday mornings at 7 am at the Bay Club on Shelter Island.
